National Grid Ventures (NGV) is building the resilient and affordable energy networks of the future. We operate across the UK, Europe and US, developing, operating, and investing in large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
NGV runs separately from National Grid plc’s core regulated operations and is focused on building and operating the infrastructure needed to generate and transport energy to keep the lights on for millions of energy users.
Our diverse businesses include subsea electricity interconnectors, solar generation, competitive electricity transmission, battery storage, conventional generation and liquefied natural gas regasification and storage. We’re also developing emerging technologies such as offshore hybrid assets and hydrogen, which will play a key role in decarbonizing and strengthening our energy networks.
